Saw that there was one of these sandwich/pizza restaurants here in Oakville. I used to go to the location in East York back in the 90's.
had to get the veal with cheese and hot peppers. It's been my staple each time I'd go to the old East York location.
The veal was fried nice and crisp with the meat tender to the bite. The only thing that would make the sandwich better is if the peppers had more spice. Overall a very nice sandwich.
Oh, one other complaint. They should have cut the sandwich in half. Two reasons; the sandwich is way too big to handle whole and I can only manage to eat half of it.....
I got a side of spicy olives. Very nice tasting olives. Ripe and tender.
Guys inside serving and making the food are friendly and courteous. -

Ordered a Chicken Parmesan sandwich, medium.
The server put dried cheese on top. When asked about the Chicken Parmesan part, he said this is Parmesan. If you want cheese it's an extra $1.00.
WOW!
REALLY!
When I asked the other server if his Mom makes hers like this his reply was, She doesn't make any of this CRAP!
True to that! -

Cute spot. Has a charm. Stopped here with the girlfriend in between a wedding ceremony and the wedding reception as there was a bit of a break and we were hungry. Quite delicious (got their greek salad, veal sandwich and of course a Brio) and massive portions. So we're no longer hungry. Really friendly people / service. There's a bar too but didn't use it.

Decided to drop by San Francesco foods for the first time in a long time last weekend. I remember it as having a great veal sandwich but not much else.
What is surprising at this location is the weird, dank and creepy bar they have attached at the back. I cant say Ive ever made it past the register before. It seemed the had a large crew of regulars who weren't eating but definitely drinking. Their beer must be cheap or something.
I ordered the veal sandwich and it was fine. My bfs panzerotti was undercooked and super raw inside. He couldn't eat it. -

Another wonderful sandwich at Sanfransisco foods never disappoints 5 stars again for an amazing juicy tender flavoured steak sandwich best in town by far
